ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Heard Caulker has to run 2 marathons, one after the other, to see if he fits in with Klopp's new football invention 'miles covered during a game of football'.

The move has rattled the cages with some of the cult members - though one or two are of course working overtime pre-occupied on logistics....

So why do it?
This club is absolutely awesome at the pointless transfer move... We just dominate that space
.........................
Just to allow more recovery time for our starting centre backs. For example the Exeter replay will be in between Man Utd at home on a Sunday and Norwich away on a Saturday. Three games in 7 days.
Then the Stoke second leg is away on a Tuesday and the next game is Leicester away on the following Tuesday. If we beat Exeter then West Ham will be inserted between that. 3 games in 7 days again.
If West Ham are defeated, then the next F.A Cup game will be inserted between the Europa League games.
The fixtures are coming thick and heavy. Chucking Caulker into the F.A Cup games will help the starting centre backs keep fit for the league, the league cup semi and the europa league.

He's not a starter here. He's a short term F.A Cup filler.

Hahaha. 'Logistics' but will it help the Alternative Premier League table? Obviously, fixture congestion is a new phenomena in England, and has only crept in since Klopp landed on these shores.

Don't hold much hope for the RS tomorrow as the wind is picking up and a Northerly at that.

I've held a baby penguin.

I'm waiting for the ex RS in the media to start demanding a winter break.

Have heard some of the media already coming out and saying they sympathise with Klopp, saying he makes a valid point.

The funny thing is, I'm sure I heard Sam Allardyce mention a winter break yonks ago, funnily enough though, none of the media came out to back him, if I remember correctly, he got a bit of a slating for suggesting it.

I agree that there should be a winter break. It would possibly also stop teams having bigger squads whch could give more kids a chance.

But i cant stand Klopp's stupid comments on "pep will need 35 players" crap
Liverpool have a squad of 26 players in there squad who are over 21, then add the kids who our first team squad members Origi, Gomez, Ibe thats 29, then yesil, balotelli, markovic, luis alberto, and andre wisdom.
Thats 34 players.
I didnt even add the likes of sinclair, illori, brad smith?, randall, ojo & ward
you have plenty of players to deal with it!

to be fair caulker is a good bit of business. He clearly isnt good enough for them long term but as they have illori and enrique with lucas as their centre halves, bringing someone with prem experience in isnt the worst thing in the world.

not compared to loaning Anthony Gardner anyway!

Good business for the other 19 teams in the league, hes utter pony

He is better than enrique and lucas at centre half and wont cost them much more than his salary.

He will probably sit on the bench most of the season but in their situation, who would you rather have?
