Whoa, whoa, whoa... whilst I've no doubt we could all do some extra dosh... to acquire it on the back of that lot lifting a trophy with the worst RS team/squad and dipstick manager I've ever had the misfortune to lay eyes upon is going somewhat against the grain.

Surely no self-respecting Blue would bet on them to win ??

Pellegrini's gonna wanna put something in the cabinet. I very much doubt he's gonna forfeit his best chance of it, so my dough's going on city; tbh I don't care what side they put out. I seen enough from their kids the other day to see that they'd cause the cack all sorts of problems.

Besides, city are more than capable of beating kiev, so can't really see that being of any consequence.

The cack are just cack. In fact, they're not even that good. You all know it. So come 18:20 on Sunday, expect to be served at the (far quieter) bar a lot quicker than you was at 16:30 ;)

Surely it's the very definition of an insurance bet? Much like betting on Everton to lose, it provides some financial compensation for an undesirable outcome.

I get that Cowboy, but betting on the RS when victory means the inevitable wall of media hype about great they now are again and all the tosh that will come with it is just so unpalatable to me.

Indeed. Plus a City win will open an additional EL place in the league. 6th isn't out of the question.
 

I hope something really winds them up on Sunday. Sterling cross 2ft over the line would be perfect....
I just want them to feel awful.
 
I worry about Sunday. City have just given up since it was announced Pellegrini is going, and the players are just going through the motions. The RS will be pepped up on red bull and will be flying at them hell for leather from the first minute. They could actually win this about 3-0 you know
 
RS will go 2-0 up with their customary shock and awe brace one of which will be s penalty. City's class will get them back to 2-2, City will hit the post in extra time, then RS win on pens. No way Liverpool walk away from Wembley without the trophy on Sunday absolutely no way.
