I really can't believe the support that the RS are getting here, it's staggering. Those clubs honours list will have
FA Cup Winners 2013 or 2008 respectively
That's all that matters

I totally disregard anything out of the mouths of the RS it's all just spin spin spinI'd agree somewhat if it was a so called big club, but this is Leicester City ffs. Besides, the League Cup is just above the Auto Windscreens Trophy in terms of prestige. It's a distraction.

It's nice to win, but it's the football equivalent of winning the raffle at the village fate.
An RS with a sense of ethics...I suppose it could happen; a bit like Bigfoot or something. There is a Kopite talking on talkSPORT right now and in response to a question about the RS chances of winning the EL he started ranting about how ridiculous it us that CL drop outs enter that competition.
According to him, it "doesn't seem right" that teams can get knocked out of one completion and enter another.
He is 100% right, of course.
But the fact that his own team were one of those CL dropouts allowed into the EL last season seems to have gone right over the bugger's head.
Whilst a cop is always a very welcome prize, there can be no doubt that finishing 2nd is a 'better' result than winning the League Cup, irrespective of who remembers what in 5 years time. They will if LCFC fail to win the league
Everyone is saying 'the EL is way more interesting than the CL, loads of good sides in it etc', overlooking the fact that most of the good EL ties involve CL dropouts. There is a Kopite talking on talkSPORT right now and in response to a question about the RS chances of winning the EL he started ranting about how ridiculous it us that CL drop outs enter that competition.
