ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Why do the FA keep, not only turning a blind eye towards both these clubs, but also offer them a helping hand more often than not. They're it's two most successful products, but there's no denying both have been the chief benefices from dodgy as sin officiating for decades.

What do both these clubs do in return? They both drag England's name through the dirt. Both have a massive "minority" of angry, bitter vile "fans" but the book never gets thrown at them by the FA. Banning United from the FA Cup for a season because they went into the club world cup is all i can remember.

It's like watching two 10 year olds having the most pathetic excuse of a squabble on the playground. How can RS fans get so irate when united fans bring up Hillsborough when their reaction is to taunt them about Munich and vice versa ... it's just utterly pathetic. I'd be embarrassed if i was english about this whole tie ... the fact that the quality on show was abysmal doesn't help.

Kudos to United singing scouser chants though .... like @catcherintherye said the other day, there's nothing scouse about them anymore. What kind of taunt is that? Is it aimed at their german coach, their northern english captain, their european defence, their south american attack or their Brummie striker?
Did the mancs do any chants in Norwegian?

To be honest.I am fed up of this happening. It is a minority in both clubs. The two clubs should join together for a statement and condemn the idiots involved. Stating there is no place for it and that it is unwelcome. All clubs have their idiots, us included. I have no time for them when they use events that brought about the death of people..Grow up you sad gits.

United fans singing about scousers is about as infantile as you can get. Around Manchester yesterday were Norwegian tourists with half and half United and Liverpool scarves (and the rats have the cheek to accuse us of being in a love in with United, they should check their own tourist fan base out).

You can't ever get through to a Manc the stupidity of them singing about scousers. Believe me I have tried, but you are talking about, by in large a inferior species of humanity. The concept of a football club with no scousers in the team, A German manager and a majority out of town season ticket base would be enough for your average 10 year old to realise they are not a part of that city. Unfortunately that is at least 2 years above the mental capacity of your average whopper who sits on the Stretford End.

In all honesty both of these clubs should face bans from Europe. What did Everton do wrong in 1985 to be banned? Then compare it to their behaviour last night. It's a living joke and I'd boot both of the small time, cretinous embarrassments out of European competitions as quickly as they can sing about a plan crashing or a wall crumbling.

To be blunt the whoppers who sing about the songs on both sides I'd quite happily stick under a wall that crashes and the other lot on a crashing plain. Not only they might learnt how to behave but they'd be doing all of us a favour of no longer having to put up with them. I'm sure they could wear their half and half scarves again like they were doing in Manchester last night!

Their bellend fans decided to unfurl a RS banner in the home section, they then got smashed all over the place. Chat **** get banged.

To be fair it's disgraceful by both sets of fans. Clearly knobheads who unveiled the banner, but frankly such use of violence is also unacceptable. Will either club get banned as they should? Maybe we should start a petition to have it debated in the House of Parliament!

I'm against all violence lid, but I do have a limit when it comes to that opposition.

We didn't stoop to their disgusting level, we never sang songs about Munich or a disaster. We sang about us, our players, what we've won and how [Poor language removed] boss we are. UEFA can fine us until the [Poor language removed] cows come home because they're spineless c*nts every last one of them. Fine us for some flares and a scuffle but don't do anything about the vile chants for 90 minutes at Anfield? Well done lads, well done, you're really setting [Poor language removed] standards there

To those lads in the home end last night I take my [Poor language removed] hat off to you. The balls on you all. Tell anyone who criticises you or gives you stick to [Poor language removed] off. You stood up to a stand full of the c*nts and won and this tale will be one of the ones told for [Poor language removed] generations

They're scum, every one of them. There is no Man Utd fan in the world that wouldn't stoop to that level and sing them songs and put that banner on the motorway. All of them can [Poor language removed] off

Keep this support us for us lads, there's some big games coming up soon

Laughing at these tools thinking they can scab a CL spot by winning this.

They never learn. They're going to get a smack in the chops in the next round. They faced trash all the way through and a United team looking to get a 4th spot in the PL rather than the less fanciful route Liverpool are trying to take to one.

Nailed on to get Dortmund me reckons

He ain't happy is he ha ha

MUFC charged over crowd disturbances, the throwing of objects and stairways being blocked.

Charges against LFC: Illicit chants, setting off fireworks, throwing of objects, Crowd disturbances, arriving late for Kick-off

[Poor language removed] off! Just [Poor language removed] off with this [Poor language removed] right now
