The worst thing is the RS beauts (and the media) will try and turn the game into some sort of big love - in.

My mate has already started after I text him about the draw, he saw it as "The 2 of best and most passionate fans in the world coming together"
They'll be wallowing in this , pissing themselves at the attention it will draw to them ! The BBC are already going into overdrive. These could be the biggest nights European football has ever witnessed! An emergency meeting of the UN general assembly has been called for.

Are you about 11? Definitely pre-pubescent with your well thought out responses.

Well yeah I suppose anyone could say stuff like "Every kopite I spoke to" on an internet board, sounds legit Watson.

No self pity going on here just a realisation that situation needs to and should stop between us and the mancs but I can`t see that happening any time soon.

So if the mods want to ban me then I won`t be around to respond but I won`t koffin (what exactly is that!) anywhere.

You know what mate im not as aggressive/defensive as some posters on here, im willing to give your opinion a listen.
I understand and agree that it is the minorities on both sides - we all have them.

United and Liverpool should both be charged for their behaviour, again not all but a majority spoil it for the respective teams. The thing is, when the 'magnificent 7' as they are called, revealed the banner and started annoying the home support, they knew what they were doing, they knew they were swimming with sharks without a cage so to speak. The Liverpool fans below all started cheering and basically encouraging them. It was a stupid thing to do. If they got a smack for it then they shouldn't be surprised - the Liverpool fans shouldn't be laughing at it because they could of got seriously hurt. Im all for banter and stuff but that was a little crazy, if man united fans done it in the Kop there would be similar consequences.

As for banners, I find it hilarious that Liverpool fans are on their high horses because of the murderers banner. Did you all forget the manc ba***rds banner from the last leg ? Both are wrong, its a football match not city vs city. It is even more out of order if Manchester United chant/banner about Hillsborough - make no mistake about it, Everton have stood hand in hand with you for 25+ years regarding this.

The biggest, funniest, most hilarious part of all the recent events is that Liverpool fans are online complaining they have been charged. Munich/Hillsborough chants have been going on for years, like I said its disgusting from both sides. You both should be slammed for it, im guessing bans or empty stadiums for both would be suffice - especially given the revenue lost as a result, doubt it will happen though...

Some bulb is twitter is claiming that "the magnificent seven took over the Stratford end". They did this by putting one of their flags up and then getting leathered before a load of stewards jumped in. I suppose that will be fine with the FA?
And these 3 Blues took the Etihad.

The agenda to get the wheelchairs removed from the Kop for the game will go into overdrive.

This is glorious. Two absolutely embarrassing football clubs dragging their reputations even further through the mud whilst fighting it out on Thursday night football before the scum get bossed in the next round by a proper team. Forget all this penalties rubbish. Any half decent team like Dortmund or Sevilla will destroy their average team. Brilliant.

United fans singing about scousers is about as infantile as you can get. Around Manchester yesterday were Norwegian tourists with half and half United and Liverpool scarves (and the rats have the cheek to accuse us of being in a love in with United, they should check their own tourist fan base out).

You can't ever get through to a Manc the stupidity of them singing about scousers. Believe me I have tried, but you are talking about, by in large a inferior species of humanity. The concept of a football club with no scousers in the team, A German manager and a majority out of town season ticket base would be enough for your average 10 year old to realise they are not a part of that city. Unfortunately that is at least 2 years above the mental capacity of your average whopper who sits on the Stretford End.

In all honesty both of these clubs should face bans from Europe. What did Everton do wrong in 1985 to be banned? Then compare it to their behaviour last night. It's a living joke and I'd boot both of the small time, cretinous embarrassments out of European competitions as quickly as they can sing about a plan crashing or a wall crumbling.

To be blunt the whoppers who sing about the songs on both sides I'd quite happily stick under a wall that crashes and the other lot on a crashing plain. Not only they might learnt how to behave but they'd be doing all of us a favour of no longer having to put up with them. I'm sure they could wear their half and half scarves again like they were doing in Manchester last night!

well not really, because they'd be dead ha - but it would teach them the lesson they deserve.

Spot-on.

But the shoite should cop it more. They've got previous, and they once again brought shame to football last night.

Yes, I'm bitter - but yes they're irresponsible scum who never learn because they never get sufficient punishment.

Liverpool FC are looking in to claims Academy player Jordan Williams mocked the Munich air disaster on Twitter.

A tweet sent from the 20-year-old’s account, responding to a video of Liverpool fans celebrating at Liverpool’s Europa League match at Manchester United, depicted an aeroplane emoji and a pair of hands clapping.

In 1958 eight United players were among 23 who died in a crash in snowy conditions at Munich Airport and some Liverpool fans have been known to taunt their arch-rivals with a song and aeroplane gestures.

The tweet was quickly deleted and Williams later apologised, claiming his account had been compromised.

He wrote: “My Twitter has been hacked, I would never put anything like that to offend anyone, sorry about this.”

Liverpool FC said it would “look into” the matter before making any comment.

Last night’s match was blighted by a minority of fans taunting each other over the respective historic tragedies of each club , with chants about the Hillsborough tragedy from United supporters, and a number of Liverpool fans chanting “Munich” in reference to the 1958 air disaster.

It must be a simple enough process to identify the individuals responsible for the banners and chanting and then banning them. In Northern Ireland this week a Prison Officer died, he had been the victim of a car bomb a couple of weeks ago. He died of a heart attack. Apparently republican prisoners were celebrating when they heard he died. Anyone who glorifies in the death of a fellow human being is beneath contempt.
