Anyone else heard the rumour that Suarez and Allen had a bust up at half time and thats why no one celebrated with Suarez when he scored?
You know what the worst part of that was, when he looked back and saw noone celebrating with him he probably thought for a split second that the goal had been disallowed. I know I did. And to be honest, I'm a little surprised and disappointed that he celebrated alone. This wasn't the 4th goal in a 5 goal demolition, this was the tying goal in a match where we struggled to create chances, in the latter period of the match, against one of our biggest rivals, and playing away from home. Might have been the first time for a long time that a player celebrated alone when scoring the equaliser against one of our key rivals.
Or maybe I have far too much time in my hands and completely missed the initial celebration or something.
Meanwhile, celebration or not, Suarez is playing in Beast mode. And when you take into account that he's our ONLY scoring threat and defences are solely focused on preventing him from getting space and time to create openings, and yet he's still scoring! It's only a matter of time before they start saying he must be hacking the game..

How does this feller get away with it?
Brendan Rodgers Issues Reality Check
"The reality is we're a long way off in the league," said Rodgers. "We finished eighth last year. If we can improve on that, it'll be fantastic for us. That's the reality of where Liverpool are I'm afraid. But our young players will get better and better." "They're very educated, Liverpool supporters. It can't be easy for them," said Rodgers. "If you're not going to have a massive investment to make it happen quickly, you have to develop it. That's where we're at."
The mugs will lap it up.
He's ensuring that his teflon coat is in place with that.
They should be challenging him & saying that an improvement on 8th i.e. 7th wouldn't be 'fantastic' it's surely the minimum requirement - winning the title would be 'fantastic'. haha, I can feel a letter to the Echo coming on.
LOL the Cultists won't like Webb's involvement in that goal. Conspiraceeeeeeeeee...
Imagine you're Roy Hodgson and reading that about 8th place.
As for the young team: average age over 25. Not exactly Rodgers' Babes like.
The feller's a con man.
I'm going to see what steps it takes to get a freelance journalist pass to one of his press conferences, then just harangue the [Poor language removed] with facts and figures until Ian Ayre orders me forcibly removed.
