They'll be desperate for Suarez to be sold abroad so they can scream he was forced out of English football. It'd be funny as **** seeing them turn themselves inside out trying to explain his departure for City or Chelsea.

It would be fascinating to see the spin the put on it. I reckon they'd say something like they wouldn't let him go abroad (where he wanted to go) but just sold him to City because they offered the most money, so they were basically blackmailing him.

A lot of the journo's on twitter have a very different take on this Suarez to city story. MCFC in full denial of any interest, with them claiming story was leaked to merseyside press (daily post one of the first to run with it) by the R's to create a market to shift Suarez so Brent can rebuild squad.

If true I can only imagine the RAWK-ite outrage that "dem ova yanks have betrayed king Brendan and decent honourable not at all racist Luis has been forced out of the club he loves" etc

The fee is unrealistic when you factor in the damage to the 'world brand' Suarez and his cohorts have brought about.

Anfield is no longer 'the place to go' because of what has happened since the departure of FSW.

IF Suarez has become an unsettling presence in the dressing room and IF Rodgers needs an influx of cash to spend, it makes perfect sense to offload asap.

Is it right his agent is Guardiarola's brother? City have brought in ex Barca guys like Bigiristain lately, could see Pep replacing Mancini if they continue to not beat everyone 4-0, wouldn't be surprised if Suarez's agent was encouraging this.

I agree that he wouldn't be Citys cup of tea & City are denying they're in the least bit interested, but the point is, that the story has just appeared from nowhere, names a price, is based around the wealthiest club on the planet..............sounds like the start of a press controlled campaign to get his price up to me. Follows the week after Rodgers compared him to Messi..........
