they have found some gems of signings tbf - but i'm not sure we should follow their operation per se. I mean they've got very lucky that the RS have been stupid enough to spend about £150m on their players than they should have.

But i look around at most teams in the prem e.g. stoke, west ham and they're all getting highly rated players to join. It's more based on the money in the prem ... and soton have a healthy backing due to the RS' stupidity.
 

None of the saints fans i know are arsed that Mane has gone.

They do great business Southampton like. They're bound to sell Redmond for 30m+ in a couple of seasons too, he's a a bit of a gem.

Liverpool though. Their lack of ambition is hilarious. 100% confident we'll be happier with our transfer window than they are with theirs.

seems you aren't allowed to comment on their forum about Mane unless you agree the price is reasonable, how dare anyone suggest that £38m for a fairly average premier league player is over paying. The mods actually had a paddy and locked the thread, lol

Pretty steep price for a player coming off 2 seasons in the Bundesliga.

They either have a buyer for Benteke after the Euros or they are selling Countinho to fund these purchases,i cannot believe they have the funds for an outlay like this without selling,they are not that rich especially after their owners have given them loans to build 2 stands.

Any form of criticism of the management of their club, especially if it is the manager, is taken as some form of heinous crime like genocide.

It's simply not accepted and quite quickly put down in a ruthless, draconian manner. Blind allegiance or pandering to the club? I'm not sure.

Hahaha....and it would appear Southampton's scheme is the reverse of the norm by their Summer Club Card Boost actually inflating any RS transfer fee...a special dispensation to them, of course though seemingly an annual event now.
