I cannot remember if he bought it or not.....but from memory he asked the club what they were doing with the debris from the demolition and they just told him to come down and take one.

That's what Abramovich did with Spurs,Joe Lewis didn't want to sell so he turned his attention to Chelsea.

But seems strange how FSG keep turning these bids down,makes me doubt these rumours of them being in serious debt,if they were in financial trouble they would scarper and let the new owners deal with the debt.
