ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Early days but they will be scratching their heads at that performance after the form they showed against the Arse for periods in that game. The challenge they have like us is they still can't attract that top tier of player.

It is difficult seeing them being able to compete consistently with the 2 Manchester clubs and Chelsea and Arsenal if they get their acts together. It appears that they might have their hands slightly tied in the transfer market at the moment as they only have a small positive net spend as things stand. Perhaps this is due to having to finance the new main stand?

I think if we can secure the new stadium on the docks we can really close right up on them.

close up on them? check the table

Oh today must have been a big upset on the APLT.

They would have had that as a "Par 3" point game lol

Three points dropped on the APLT :(

You say that as if there is a logic to it, if I was going to guess you will also need to consider how many letters in the opponents name, the avg. height of the ball boys and if Hendo la had a slight cold 3 weeks ago.

Just watching them getting battered by Burnley when I happened across this on RAWK about possible Chinese ownership.......

"Personally my opinion at the moment is that as a result of the recent debacle by Hicks and Gillette nothing short of complete fan ownership will ever be acceptable to the majority of the clubs fan base.

However, in saying that, i do have a sense of realism in that fan ownership is not something that we can do right now, nor overnight, and probably not likely for quite a while, possibly even measuring this in years. So in the mean time we are left with several options - all of which involve people with buckets of money usually gained through questionable means - as possible owners of our club.

So, to start the debate my position is:

I don't like the thought of state sponsored Chinese ownership at all - however seeing as we are in dire [Poor language removed] straits right now - i'm willing to approve the deal with the proviso that they will be subject to extreme scrutiny by groups such as SOS for the duration of their involvement."

I like the fact that he is willing to approve the deal, I'm sure the owners will welcome this........

Hahahahahaahaaahaaa lol 'kin hell, they are amazing!

I like this one as well...especially where he recovers his comments by suggesting that the keeper is still good.....

"Another defensive blunder. Clyne passed to one of their players. He made a pass, they scored from outside the box.

Weak defending and weak goalkeeping (although not many keepers would have saved)"

Haha, love the thought of any potential investors going onto RAWK to see if they have the approval to go ahead.

Wonderful

They get Jurgen klopp and they want him out already.

Hope they do sack him, and get the calibre of manager they deserve. Pulis will jump at the job, or Sean dyche? Eddie howe? David moyes? Perhaps even martinez?

Do you remember that episode of Red Dwarf when Rimmer ends up on trial cos he's so self important he thinks the death of the crew is his fault, even though he's just a lowly chicken soup machine cleaner?
That's what they're like, all that guff they peddle on RAWK about 'we're all ambassadors for the club". They are a fanbase of absolute Rimmers.
