Never, ever gets old that.

98 lovely words... should be on a plaque somewhere.

Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack

A good ball by Dixon finding Smith

For Thomas, charging through the midfield, Thomas IT'S UP FOR GRABS NOW...

THOMAS, RIGHT AT THE END!!

An UNBELIEVABLE climax to the league season - well into injury time - The Liverpool players are down - absolutely abject!

Aldridge is down, Barnes is down, Dalglish just stands there, Nicol's on his knees, McMahon's on his knees,

suddenly it was Michael Thomas bursting through, the bounce fell his way, he flicks it wide of Grobelaar, and we have the most dramatic finish

Sturridge: I’m unhappy with Liverpool role by Tony Barrett
Daniel Sturridge has admitted that he is not happy being deployed in a wide role by Jürgen Klopp but insisted that “he will do a job for the team”.
After missing Liverpool’s first game of the season through injury, the England striker started on the right in their 2-0 defeat away to Burnley on Saturday. He was taken off after 65 minutes, having failed to make an impact, but came on in a similar role in their 5-0 EFL Cup win against Burton Albion on Tuesday and scored twice.
Although he remains willing to play wherever he is selected, Sturridge believes that operating as a wide attacker prevents him from playing his natural game and his admission that he is unhappy being moved away from his favoured position will give Klopp food for thought. Sturridge has had injury problems throughout his Anfield career and there were fears that the Liverpool manager would deem him surplus to requirements this season.
“I have to do a job for the team,” Sturridge said. “That’s not saying I am happy to do it. That’s saying I have got to do a job for the team. If I am put in that position, I have to play there.
“Of course it is more difficult for me to play wide. I’m a centre forward. In the modern-day game, you have to try and be flexible, but everyone knows my best position. Everyone knows where I enjoy playing the most. I just have to do a job for the team.

The BBC are really cranking up the Klopp love in recently , here's the latest gem!

It seems like only yesterday a certain Mr. B. Rodgers was being spoken off in the same revered tones.

And he came within one timely slip of actually achieving sommat significant at the Pit
