51,232 attended, 54,167 capacity. I'd say that's a bit of a letdown myself. Like 2,935 empty seats first game in the rebuilt stadium.
Oh well, and we get mauled for only selling 39,494 and 39,581 out of 40,221 (including visitor allocations).

A friend of mine was one of the engineers on the steelwork, hates football and even he was amazed at both the shoddy design of it and the views it created.

He was also on that bridge in London that collapsed and dropped 1000 tonnes of steelwork into the Thames, pity they didn't collapse the Kop instead.

Just looked on the BBC website. Funny how the league table preview now shows the top five. Yes, they are fifth. I bet if they won by a goal less it would have either been the top four shown, or top six to include them lot.

Not only that, but on the BBC Premier League page The Table shows 4 teams on 7pts - GD2...the usual form is to list them alphabetically.
Arsenal
Everton
Hull
Liverpool

Nooo, not in the rs beeb
rs
Arsenal
Hull
Everton

Ignoring the possible fact that at P3, GD2, 7pts; our record is actually better than P4, GD2, 7pts

God knows but they must be top on their pretendy table now.

Think it's goals scored if goal difference is the same.

The BBC fawning over them on MOTD extra is ridiculous though. 'They look like the most entertaining team in the league'. 'They're scintillating going forward'. We've played four games two of which they didn't win, sake.
