Making stuff up about Hillsborough again over on RAWK...

"Within the ground, they must think it's safety in numbers, because the occasion never passes without some vile and bitter reference of Hillsborough or Heysel."

...so I have the pleasure of listening to the vile songs and watching the wall pushing and squashed faces every year.

I've said it before, but the "always the victim" song which came about during the Suarez/Evra incident was perfectly apt for them at the time, but the fact it's now come out that a section of the United support are actually referencing Hillsborough with that chant does us no favours.

It was never a Hillsborough song to us. Had 3 family members at Hillsborough myself and i've sung the always the victim chant before, but won't any more now I've realised that a minority of lowlife Man United fans link the song to that and not just other things down the years. We should show some class and knock it off now in my opinion. Especially when it gives them ammunition to say we're chanting about Hillsborough when we obviously aren't. The way they still try and use the Hillsborough argument against us is sickening though after all the support our fans and club have given them over the years.

Is that aimed at us at Goodison?

Funny in the age of camera phones there is zero evidence of this ever happening in any derby

Yet we have Munich flags at Heysel, Well before Hillsborough

But yer, Everton fans are a disgrace

The APLT Prof has come up with this for the loss at Burnley..

A comment on the Burnley match which I haven't read elsewhere and don't like to shout too loudly (so I'll hide it in here)...

They used their home advantage to stop us playing our game. The grass was left long so it played really slow. When you train every day on pitches like bowling greens, it's a huge difference. The players left so many passes short and the interchange of sharp passes we use was almost impossible to implement.

It'll happen again too. If I was an opposition manager at a lesser team, I'd do it against us every time. It is easier to do in August due to grass growing rates at that time compared to the middle of winter. But letting a pitch get saturated will have a similar effect.

And then there are others getting very very excited, like 40 year old virgins, over the 2 points gained in the APLT.. Apparently being 2nd in the APLT is more important than 5th (or 6th or 7th) in the PL.

It seems they will use any reason for a defeat , apart from them being crap

Well said.

The only thing I will add though is that whilst Hillsborough chants are clearly made up by them to score points, i've heard plenty of our fans singing sick stuff and making vile comments at Man City about Harold Shipman and United about Munich.

I'm ashamed of some of our supporters when I hear it.
