How can a couple of former Manchester United (Gary - gave up when the time was right as a player and Phil, also NB Everton, nice but dim brother) opinions be so alarming to Klopp and Co. when the media is totally saturated with former Liverpool players? isn't two points from nine a bit more urgent an issue?
It doesn't seem to be remotely inappropriate to someone at Sky/BT etc to position Redknapp, Carragher, Souness et al for an Everton game now does it - in fairness Souness is a bright spark and Carragher has done well (despite the handicap of a Bootle accent).. whereas Stevie Me even gets an invite and he's unintelligible. As for Pinocchio whinging away on Sky every Sat-aft to the vast amusement of Le Tiss (should that be Le Pish Take?) and e-Mersed and even "I missed it" Kamara...
So for every Hamann, Collymore, Murphy, there's an Owen (now he REALLY is Tripe and right up there with Garth for a Statement of the Bleeding Obvious Award) or a Fowler (yes, really, The Toxteth Landlord) and for every McManaman, Beglin, Hansen there's always a Sad (moaning) Case, an abusive, pigeon threatening Aldridge, an overbearing Barnes, Mellor, Lawrenson or an overly biased Calamity James etc.
