Thank you,it's pityful.
Tbf even some of those belters look embarrassed !Thank you,it's pityful.
Really are a cringey cult aren't they
What does he mean.."theyve had their punishment". Presumably hes inferring that someone/something has judged them guilty, intervened and prevented them from winning the Premiership since its inception ? Avoiding, of course, the p/poor management of pivotal games at the end of THAT season and their talisman skipper's preoccupation with playing to the camera rather than staying on his two feet. Then again as usual....Kopite jurisdiction dictates that the less its mentioned, the more it didnt really happen like that. And moreover...even for pundits paid to specifically do that with impartiality.Jamie Redknapp
"People are going to say it's obvious that I would say this, but I'm looking at it from a romantic point of view and a football point of view: I would love to see Liverpool win the league.
"It's been a long time, they've had their punishment. I think it would be a great story for all the neutrals to see Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool win it again."
They really - really don't get it do they.
No Neutral wants them to win it, they aren't 'neutrals' second team, and who on earth watches football as a neutral in this country anyway, everyone who watches has there own team, and unless that team is Liverpool, then frankly NO one wants to see them win it, with the only excpetion being as a desperate way to avoid seeing their direct rival winning it, spurs may want them to win it if it was between them and arsenal etc, but given a choice no one wants them to win it.
Ofc Redknapp, much like all other deluded koppites, still have this idea that they are they are actually liked around the country, bit of a clue, listen to the chants ringing out in 13/14 around every golrund when Gerrard slipped, look at the joy around every club in the league when they [Poor language removed] it up, but the media narrative is 'the neutrals favourite'
Said this and got slated !Would be great for the city if they win.

Aye was confsuing, i onlyassume what he meant was that people secretly loved Liverpool, but due to their success they had to have a period of punishment (defined by lack of winning the league) before the 'neutral' could start rooting for them as the plucky underdog going against the big boys against all odds again.
The Klopp wankfest is getting super annoying as well, theres 4 managers in the league that have won far more than he has as a manager, Conte, Mourinho, Wenger, Guardiola.
1 of those totally reinvented footy in this country in wenger
1 of those reinvented an entire brand of footy that dominated internationally and in europe in Guardiola
one of them brought a european giant back from its knees and basically resurrected the italian style of play in Conte
1 of them brought the manager to the now position of being as importnat in the media as the players in Mourinho
and 1 of them basically discovered if you run more and press a lot then it's a good thing
of them all the thing the media obsess over is Klopp
Good manager - yes no doubt about it he is, but the media are doing what they love to do, build someone up so tall that they won't ever be able to live up to it, and then they can chop him down in brutal fahsion, the amount of rs in the media probably will give him some time before the rest turn against him, which a couple of years of failing in cup finals whilst other teams win thigns, well then eventually they will do.
2 other english teams won a european cup after the rs have last done so, but the one they talk about still is the miracle of Istanbul, basically a game that Gerrard blatantly cheated in to get them back in it
Haven't Koeman won more than Klopp
