"We call on people of the UK to sign the petition and stop Everton Football Club building a new ground on a heritage site. This is absurd and people of LFC/Residents feel it unjustified. We hope the good people of the UK and the FA see sense and stop this before it happens. #YNWA"

"As football fans and concerned residents in and around the area of Bramley Moore Docks, myself and people of the Anfield area have been are very concerned about traffic issues if the ground goes ahead on this heritage site. BM is a special place as our kids normally like to play in and around the area, people walking their dogs as well as kite flying lessons. We have sent numerous letters to the FA asking them to support our concerns and hopefully have EFC docked points in the coming seasons."

As if the FA have any say. Has to be a blue on a wind - up taking the piss out of them.

That is what I think.

Surely that cannot be a genuine petition lol

It mightn't be kosher but many rs wouldn't be against it principle.

This is what I thought too.

Anyone wanting to sound genuine and community-minded about it would avoid any links to LFC, subtle or not so subtle.

Mind you, they are not the cleverest people I have come across......

They have no remorse or conscience mate. Those that do will be shot down immediately.
I understand that football fans have 'banter' but saying something like that shows a lack of heart but more importantly a lack of class and a poor reflection on humanity. There are boundaries in which some people are not aware of them or simply disregard them.

Football fans need to realise that they are representatives of their clubs. Representing your club isn't all about getting one over your rivals, its about showing the world that your club is the backbone of the local community, something which you are a part of, and something you like to be proud of.

Football is the one thing that can bring people of all faiths and colour together under one roof. Unfortunately every village has a idiot.
