ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

liverpool tend to do well against the best though.
That's true. If they fail to respond though that would set alarm bells ringing. City and United aren't far behind them and if they fail to get a CL spot Klopp will be under severe pressure.

I dont think anyone could have predicted such a meltdown as this at the beginning of the month. Their customary dip, yes, but this is a lot of reversals over a short time frame.

Coutinho's absence and Mane off to the AFCON has scuppered them and they failed to move in the transfer window. The natives are restless and with Chelsea next at Anfield there's no guarantee it'll end soon.

What I don't understand is why they think Mane coming back will solve all their issues as he will be 'fresher'. He's playing in a mid-season tournament ffs
And he's running his backside off, for a team that will win it, so that's 6 or 7 games in 5 weeks in 30+ degrees. The slump started whilst he was there. Sunderland away, even the Derby I don't think they're winning that if we don't suffer two unlucky injuries.

Was saying earlier that the way the RS set - up normally works against the top sides, the problem they will have against Chelsea is that the way Conte has them playing means the RS will have to come out and play more to break Chelsea down, Chelsea will just pick them off on the break.

Plus must win for Liverpool - Chelsea can happily take a point so can sit back and breakaway
