ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I'm terrified of the derby for literally the opposite reasons I was for the one at Goodison. We're in quite good form, they are in freefall mode. We've seen this way too many times already to not know the outcome.

I think the key will be to treat it as just a normal game and not let the occasion overwhelm things

I saw enough at Goodison to know we can take them. If Jimmy Mac hadn't been injured in that game things could have been a lot different

We just have to show up and get the job done. If we can get over that mental block, who knows what'll be next for us?

Same here. Worst day as an Evertonian for sure.

Completely bottled it against an appalling Liverpool side.

I didn't speak the entire train journey home. I was on the train at Wembley Central before the final whistle went.

Yep,totally bottled it yet again, had to wait for our train till about 5:30pm that night, went into an Everton designated pub and it was great, all the EFC songs blasting out, summed up the difference between us and them to me, you'd have thought we'd won:)

I know what you mean and Lord knows I should be dreading the upcoming derby because I really should know better by now.

But for some reason I ain't :)

Bring it on......I think we are going to smash the buggers

Not sure what happened there, PC went pear shaped.

I was going to say, I think we're a different team now, go there full of confidence.
I was surprised in the Goodison game that we went at them. I hope this time we park the bus, let them have the ball, and hit them on the break.
Easy peasy

Does anyone else think Fanta Scruff might have instigated a karmic shift in the balance between our two clubs?

There he was, at a European Final, lucky enough to get interviewed on the telly and he used his 5 minutes of fame not to celebrate the occasion but to bash Everton, a club so supposedly "below" the one he purported to support (I bet the two finals were the only two games he went to all season)

Maybe the Football God's saw that and thought "Shoosh your noise muppet! Have a punch in the face and a soul destroying loss ya bell whiff!"?
I think you've nailed it Mickey.
The shift in power is happening,

Or maybe I'm talking nonsense as per...

but who has the mental block? manager? players? both players and managers have been changed for many of our games against them.
