Playing nothing but away games from February through May would have been logistically impossible. So we soldiered on with three stands in operation. Much like every other team not named Liverpool FC would have done.

Our attendances were rubbish that season! UNBELIEVABLY poor! 13,667 v Southampton in Dec, ( after which Kendall resigned) 19,841 v Arsenal in the February 16,777 v Sheff Wed on the 27th Dec they were awful. It took the Wimbledon game to wake up alot of blues in that era. I remember going to games actually wondering if it had been called off it was so quiet walking up.

I can tell by the link this is an article about istanbul. Somebody needs to tell them it was half a comeback because they still only drew the game, despite having an extra 30 mins more than barca to win the game. Of course barca's was better.
