I came across some very upsetting comments on an Irish based website about the Hillsborough tragedy.Basically some posters on the forum are still trying to put the blame for Hillsborough on Liverpool fans.There has also been nasty slurs aimed at the city of Liverpool and it's people.Basically there seems to be no moderation on the site and all sorts of nasty comments seem to be fair game.

We should be forever vigilant against such things. I hope you did what you could in trying to correct their misinformed and callous comments. We rightly stand united with LFC over Hillsborough.

Do these same people blame the Pilgrims at Mecca for the stampedes? Very large numbers of people congregating in one area need organising and policing of the highest standards. Unfortunately, these tragic events will still occur due to a lack of them.

In fairness if that cretin "duffs" thought his wum act was getting a mention here he would be over the moon. Don't give him credence by bringing it up here. I don't post there but I knew he would be at it so I had a look yesterday. He's a pity and every Internet user in Cork who has ever passed through that site knows it.
