ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

They've been proper vocal about our new signings, trying to put us down at every opportunity. Never known anything like it.

My favourite so far has been.

"Who's arsed that the BS are spending money, what for? To consolidate 7th?.... I wouldn't have any of those players near our 18 let alone Starting XI"

This actually happened, and was posted.

There's a flap going on for sure, they're not used to being in this position, only City and Chelsea have spent more in premier league history, so to see us spending, and spending well, they're gonna start firing off petitions for marches and banners soon.

As usual they'll spend a shedload, but they need a brand new defence and goalie.

Most knowledgable fans in the world though.

Saw a headline saying they'd signed an "ex Barcelona striker". Never heard of him so looked him up... he left when has about 12.

haha we can't all spend £5m for a loan for an ex-real madrid and dortmund star and actually make them look like a sunday league player.

It won't happen but if you was Moshiri wouldn't you just withdraw £70 million from your bank and throw it at Southampton for Van Dijk, imagine the fume from them us signing a top target who would massively improve us. That's the only negative of Moshiri so far for me, Chelsea and City both made a point of rubbing it in the faces of their rivals by signing a big player from under them (Willian, Tevez) why can't we just do it the once?

We should wack a big bid in just to puch the price up
