He is their best player and keeping him makes them more likely to get top four, so I can understand why Klopp doesn't want him to go. That said, I'd have thought they could have popcorned Barcelona and asked for Rakitic and cash in exchange - if they managed to get VVD as well they'd probably win the league.

I was in Dublin yesterday and i passed the lfc merchandise store in the Ilac centre.I noticed in the window various displays of merchandise based around the this is anfield sign.Basically the store is flogging mugs and t shirts etc with the old style Liverpool logo as depicted with the this is Anfield sign.But the phrase this is anfield is replaced by the words this is Dublin.That's weird i thought that crowd called themselves Liverpool football club not Dublin football club?I guess when Shanks was talking about making the people happy, he meant the people of Dublin as well?

Some of our owns view on them wouldn't look out of place on RAWK. Last year they'd won the league by October, the season before they were going to rule Europe because they'd signed James Milner.

I feel we sold Lukaku a couple weeks too early, if we'd have sold post neymar we'd surely have got more.

Coutinho is tidy player but he's never really shown consistency over an entire season, he had a big dip last season before our idiot team played him back into form during the derby.

100% agree. Liverpool rejecting 90 million for him looking like he'll go for over 100 there's no way Everton could come out with accepting 75 million for such a superior player.

There's no correlation between Lukaku's fee and Coutinho.

Barcelona would never want Lukaku, but a technically gifted player like Coutinho is their kind of player.

We got top dollar for Lukaku. Much more than I could have ever expected. If he was sold now, it'd be the same fee, because Neymar's transfer to PSG has nothing to do with Lukaku and it would not have inflated the fee.

The only effect of Neymar's transfer right now is on Coutinho. That's it.

Agree with Tubey, clubs are now going to fleece Barcelona as they know they have this huge money to spend and need to replace a lost star with another or even a couple. Lukaku we got a good fee for and if we get the £90m eventually we will all be happy. Not like we took £40m-£50m for him then saw the transfer fees explode, it is one of the top 10 transfer fees ever (can't be arsed to look exactly where it is) and there is no way anyone would say he is one of the top 10 players in the world.

The plan clearly is to lure gullible non lfc supporting tourists (and tourists with no intrest or knowledge of football) into the store to snap up some souvenirs of their visit to Dublin.I couldn't see any self respecting Irish red walk around Liverpool wearing that sort of tacky rubbish.I guess the 8th wonder of the world, that is the extension to the main stand at anfield won't pay for itself.lol
