Crikey.
Exactly.....poor away support as usual...

Lurkers what dya' reckon, is he serious or trying to start a bidding war. Sky Sports.

VAN DIJK 'NOT FOR SALE'

Southampton chairman Ralph Krueger is adamant that Virgil van Dijk is "not for sale in this window".

The defender has handed in a transfer request and speculation continues to link him with a potential move to Liverpool or Chelsea.

But Krueger has told Press Association Sport: "Virgil is not for sale in this window and it's not personal.

"It's not about him, it's about an overall much, much, much bigger picture - a change of course for Southampton. That's one player in this whole equation of 25 and it is the visible one, but for us it's the principle and it's the path and it's the statement we need to make to get to a new space as a club.

"We are very, very adamant about carrying this through."

They'd take £70 milllion tomorrow. Firmly believe every player has their place. Fair play to them for taking no rubbish and making a laughing stock out of the RS and if they hold firm I'd be highly surprised if he isn't back in their team come September. Do we have £70 million left?

Look at the comments, locals not happy, and to be fair despite them being some cretinous individuals i would not be happy with the way FSG are selling the local fans down the stream.

It will be interesting to see how long this sort of stuff carries on, as we all know they love a protest and a march.

I think if FSG dont sell up in the next couple of years i could see an attempt of a pheonix club rising, which would be interesting to see were the majority of the fans will go

Regardless of the RS or not this is what ruins football. The club are trying to maximise profits because they know a out of towner will spend a shed load in the club shop.

We'd be the same, if have no doubt. It's basically legal touting, the same with stubhub.

I'd feel sorry for them but hey, it's de redmen. Screw them.

If it's another excuse for them to make a cringey video featuring "SLEBS" like Pete Price and Jimmy Corkhill, I'm all for it.

And if they march and have big banners and whine to De red Echo and continue to make themselves look like absolute weapons, even better.

A few years back, my mate had a season ticket. They got through and played Real Madrid, he was looking forward to it, as you would. Then he received a letter off the club. His seat was being used as part of a block offered to people booking through Thomas Cook. He would have to go and sit elsewhere.

He never went back that season and hasn't since. He doesn't really even watch them on TV anymore, it made him lose all interest. He said it is no longer the club he loved.

Thats grim but they dont have a big away support for Europe, but they make out its because they have been in it so much there fans dont get as excited as ours do, when in reality they just dont have the same core support as us but have loads of tourists who go to Anfield for the "match day experience"
