While I can appreciate the footballing talent that allows a player like Salah to score goals for his club, I cannot understand the footballing brain of a player that let's him sign for such a morally bankrupt club when there are hundreds of other more 'wholesome' clubs available he could have joined. Not sure how he can ever recover from that.

You mean jelavic right? I remember when his second touch was a celebration. What the hell happened there. For them he’s made a better start than Suarez ever did, so hopefully he peaks soon and drops off a cliff. If he’s average as some of us claim then I’d hate to know what word would be used to describe our record signing.

No, I meant Cisse at Toon. When he went there he scored goals for fun and wonderful goals at that. Jelavic is, however, another good example.

Mate. We have signed a player for £45m who is genuinely awful and Salah is banging goals in left, right and centre. I know who I'd rather have 100 times out of 100.
 
I don’t get how a team could make really good signings like Salah and Mane and completely forget about the defence. My guess would be that they did what we did with Giroud with VVD.

Long may it continue.
