How the LFCEcho report Edmund and Fleetwood's sporting weekend

Liverpool fan Edmund
Southport Star Fleetwood

Guess which one goes the game.
To be honest, you have to take your hat off for getting the South African Edmund into the red Echo and no doubt it will be his year given his sporting allegience.

I am disappointed that they didn't refer to Fleetwood as a long haired layabout Everton fan who ruined a good walk by hitting a ball with a stick. Missed opportunity.

What I do think is amazing though is the world and his wife backed the Brewster kid , and rightly so , but because it seems it was a Johnny Foreigner . Holgate gets crucified but not just that Terry is a frequent guest on sky , they’ve had tribute programs about him and Suárez and they’ve both been found guilty by FA panels of racism . It all kettles my head a bit be honest .
I'm surprised Ferdinand can bear to be in a room with Terry, given what Terry said to his brother.

Perhaps I am ignorant on this subject but maybe people can help me out here. Why does English football attract players from the lowest class, based on their behavior? You have players like Adam Johnson, who is a convicted pedophile. You have players like Wilshere, who had 2 kids by the age of 19. You have players like Ched Evans. You have players like John Terry, who is a racist. You have players like Giggs, who shagged his brother's girl. You have players like Rooney, cheating on his wife. Now, you have Jon Flanagan, the woman beater. The list is endless.

You would rarely find athletes of this nature in America, playing professional NBA, NFL, NHL or athletes from other European nations like Germany. So why does English football attract so much of this?
OJ Simpson, Kobey Bryant, Lance Armstrong, etc, all say ‘Hi’. The issue is more likely to be something to do with young men with a talent being feted and fawned over, and believing they can do whatever they like as a result.
