I didn't watch the game as i was sleeping (Hong Kong time ) and i've never watched him live as i have no interest in a Bayern dominated boring Bundesliga,of what i've seen of him is youtube highlights and a gander on squawka.

But you tagged me for stats on tonight sgame and i'll oblige.

On whoscored.com he got man of the match with a 8.56 score.

102 touches
93% pass completion
5 out of 7 take ons
5 tackles
2 key passes
1 assist

Sorry i couldn't match the gylfi guy.

So, in your world, was that fap-worthy?

I'm gutted they have got Keita,he's better than Vidal Pogba Nainggalon and Milinkovic-Savic who are the good archetype box to box midfielders around today.

His dribbling, interception, tackling and key passing stats are crazy, especially last season.

Best description of him is Essien with the physicality and Iniesta with the dribbling in tight spaces and passing.

He's a player who can play as a 6 8 or 10 comfortably.

I'm surprised no other teams were in for him,the RS did well getting that deal done early.

It's obvious they've seen something in the Keita lad to pay that much for him. I have only seen highlight reels which make him look like Pele. They've not really signed any big flops since Klopp took over. Not on the scale of Carroll, Downing etc. The big money signings he's made have done well on the whole. I'll wait until I've seen him kick a ball in anger in the barclays before I pass my judgment down.

They'll be [Poor language removed] every AFCON year though

AFCON is in the summer now mate.

Wijnaldum saying United are Liverpool’s rivals because we don’t compete for titles. From the team thats won one league cup in ten years. You really can’t comprehend the depths of their arrogance. No wonder the entire football world routinely laughs at them. Wijnaldum’s greatest achievement in the game was relegating Newcastle.
A revealing choice of words there from him.

Let's face it, he cant see "dont win titles" really he can he?

How embarrassing for "massive club" Liverpool to not win the English title for 28 years.

All they've had to make them feel big in the last decade or more are these games against United when Ferguson et al and the media have patted them on the head reassuringly that they're at least still part of a massive game that rolls round twice a season.

Of course, they'll win the title next season...just like they always do.

He's gonna be the white Carlton Palmer

I know this as I've never watched him play either.
That's a good analogy, tbf. Although at least Palmer covered ground a bit quicker.

The way Keita picked the ball up last night and ambled forward with it at zero knots per hour for his one and only contribution to the game is the kind of lethargic stunt he'll be completely wiped out trying to do from the middle of any PL pitch next season.
