ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Why do Liverfail have this 'we're such a poor little club with no money unlike those rich Manc douchebags with their oil money' mentality? Guys, you're a Big 6 team and you spent £75 million on van Dijk, knock it off with the fake underdog crap. Teams in League 2 are actually struggling with money.

Also, I doubt the Manc fans are going to be scared tbh.

Scouse voices???????????????????????????????

You know what they should do, they should greet their squad to training every morning and hang a yellow tinted bed sheet over the wall of the training ground reading "6 Times". Get a couple of T-Shirts celebrating the triumph printed and sold in Williamson Square. That kinda thing has worked out well for them in the past...
You'd think they'd have learned their lesson with all the triumphalism stuff.

I sense this time though its just bravado. They know in their heart of hearts they haven''t got what it takes to beat City over two games.

Bring your banners, flags, flares and pyro....and your bags of faeces, concrete slabs and Stanley knives.

Do people not need permission from the authorities to organise events such as this?

Actually urging people to bring “pints and pyro”.

A potentially lethal combination to put it mildly.

Urging thousands of people on to the streets to “scare” a football team before they even get inside the stadium?

They really are disgusting.

I give them no chance whatsoever against City, in fact, I think it will be a bit of a massacre with them losing home and away.

Also, all that meeting the coach nonsense I think actually puts more pressure on there own team rather than worry the team of top footballers they’re playing against. Fear doesn’t exist at that level.

Playing under pressure causes players to freeze, it’s massive. It’s why all managers try there hardest to keep the pressure off there players as no matter how experienced you are, it can effect you. It’s all about controlling your emotions and staying on autopilot replicating what you’ve done day in day out in training.

You’d have thought those beauts over there would have learnt there lesson last time they crumbled. They’ve won nothing since this greeting the coach was introduced.

Libpool Ultras, lad. They are quite simply more committed and uber loyal than your average football fan, lad. It means they can carry out atrocities pretty much with impunity, lad.

The best chance they have is if City's main players are out injured, David Silva, De Bruyne and Aguero. Also, Sane is in the form of his life and on the other flank the other Silva Bernado, is playing well. Sterling is also playing well and they have Jesus back. City will have learnt a lot about how they played at Anfield. Lfc's best chance is to try and outscore city and attempt to limit how many they get at Anfield.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Also, the Man City team will probably react the way Lingard and co did when the dumbo West Ham fans attacked their bus. Laugh, joke and take photos.

Plus it makes them look like complete knobheads as well

One man it will unsettle is wee Reem Sterling.

He totally froze the last time City went to The Pit due to the crescendo of boos every time he got the ball.

Pep needs to leave him at home that night.

Even from the occasionally rational RS theres a muted indifference that these toe- curling displays embarrass them. Theyre in denial by choice a lot of them... "I didnt know that about Alan Smith's ambulance/the Parade of Rafael's Cardinals/the Torchlight Team Coach Escort..." etc etc. How the Police operationally allow the latter is beyond me given the public order implications and the clear public safety issues. You can imagine the gnashing of teeth and hysteria should it be refused and the ensuing post defeat blame game.
