ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I am not saying Citeh are cheats. I am saying Real and Juve use their experience to gain advantages. Against Spurs, a Juve player was barely touched on the touchline by Trippier and collapsed and won the free kick. The pressure Spurs were putting on was halted by that experience. Ramos and co will use all their know how in a way Citeh don't. Aguero is one of my favourite strikers to watch as on the whole he plays the game in the right spirit and isn't a bellend. Not once in my post did I accuse Citeh of cheating. A fantastic team which will probably dominate for years in the Prem but European footy is a different animal.

Ah, must have misread, apologies.

"Look at all the [bad word]s we give" - City fans, probably.

As if Liverpool don't suck corporate wang themselves. They're hardly FC United. Also, how bad were Watford's defence? There were 7 or so defenders and not one of them could stop Salah. I like Shay Given, incidentally. It's nice to have a goalie on for a change and have a bit of goalkeeping analysis. He was very diplomatic about Butland and Pickford.

That is a tactic you will see employed by teams at all levels of professional football.

Along with subbing players in injury time and that player slowly traipsing from the furthest point away from the dugout.

Teams don’t need to have played in Europe to do this.

And I was wanting to ask all those commentators and pundits droning on and on about how Juventus beat Spurs because of their European “experience” what happened to them in the first leg.

Juve were 2-0 up.......and then conceded two away goals to end up drawing the game :(

One season........

It fits the mould of the delusion that anything done at anfield counts more than elsewhere, and how increasingly across football anything done today is so much more impressive than previously (ironically due to the internet and explosion of sites like this that perpetuate 24/7 debate!).

Salah is having a superb season. But there are a litany of players who set the league alight in terms of goalscoring without becoming the next messi, ronaldo or whoever it was in their day.

Think Vardy, Cole, Kevin Phillips etc etc the list goes on. All rightly lauded for their superb seasons over the years without being elevated to comparisons with the best player in history of football. Even Kane only now after 4/5 seasons of consistency being universally accepted as world class.

Well done Salah, but come on. I saw a tweet comparing Messi's 5 La Ligas, 3 CLs, Ballon D'Ors etc achieved by 25 with Salah's record at that age. Celebrate the probable player of the year performance but let's keep things in perspective Jurgen!
Arshavin scored 4 at the pit, look how his career went

Fair point about Spurs but Juventus went through.

Hello Evertonions. I read this forum and post bits from time to time. Always said you are the true supporters of your city. Some really good posts on this thread regarding our quarter final v 'pool. Nice to read most of you are hoping we beat them as much as us would hope you beat Man-ure!

I read(although not on)RAWK. Seems there are some real plonkers on there who think that bricking the team and fans coaches heckling to intimidate us like the natives in the film Rorke's drift, whilst holding banners and letting flares off. And screaming at us like we're the effin Beatles. lol.

I think they are living in the past. Talking of flares, i might rock up with my Oxford bags on in my platform shoes.

Don't forget to soften them up in the Derby for us. Best of luck to Everton lads.

That balloon head has a teddy bear with him. Issues a plenty.
Being a red what do you make of these types, obviously they bring money in but they take a lot of the atmosphere away and cause a lot of resentment amongst the local support, there seems to be a lot more attatched to your club than any other
