a lot depends on whether we can get at least a point vs West Ham. Should we get to 50 points, and they lose the game in Kiev, I think we can lay claim to having had the more successful season. Certainly we will have wrested the initiative from them as we look forward to next season. But as you imply, if they can win a pot, even a non-domestic one, argument can be made that their season has just shaded ours in terms of tangible return. But I am not entirely convinced that tangible outcome necessarily trumps the intangible. A case could be made that our trophy cabinet is better stocked than theirs if our work in the community and our providing a stable and nurturing 'family' environment for our players is taken in to acccount and were this awarded silverware. Yes, the more cynical on here might therein accuse a 'clutching at straws' dialectic but I guess that's just a shade of grey (i.e. open to debate). Kiev notwithstanding, Evertonians have been presented a season which, on the basis of the club's social consciousness, is one we can all take pride in...and pride of place on MerseysideIf they lose in Kiev, it will be another trophy-less season, and at least 19 points behind the CHAMPIONS Citteh.

I've signed up to about four religions since that shower made the final, will be praying to christ, god, budda, that elephant thing and anyone else to stop the cult winning it
Ronaldo, Isco and Carvajal will be fit for the CL Final. As crucial as Ronaldo and an in form Isco to turn to are, Carvajal will be a massive boost as they've struggled with Vasquez at FB while he's been out.

The main reason he played Vazquez right back was not just Carvajal was injured but Nacho was rushed back to sit on bench v Bayern and came on at the end. Yeaterday Nacho played and Vazquez was benched, he is definitely no right back. By thr time the final comes round, Zidane will have his two first choice right backs fit.
On a side note this is a very interesting watch, last year, Zidane’s half time team talk. I like how he lets them recover, and doesn’t rant and rave, he gives them a couple of minutes of what they need to do to win. A proper winner.

In a way I'm looking forward to getting this final out the way. It's like a looming grey cloud and I just want it to pass over. I think overwhelmingly Madrid have got this in hand. If Liverpool beat them then it'll be as a result of a series of miscalculations by the officials and Madrid players. If Madrid are still hungry to make history I see a long night for Liverpool - who have fallen alarmingly for them out of form (if they;d faced Barcelona last night they;d have been buried, for example).Henderson being fit will nullify all that though.
Apparently.
