I was hardly arsed about our own game but I called over to some red-clad blokes sitting on a bench near the band stand "Ey lads who are you lot playing today?" The theee of them looked at each other, one called back "Not sure mate".

I'm going to see Jason Mansford that night with the wife. While I genuinely can't stand him, I thought it was best to bury me head in the sand.
I was over for a funeral last Friday and went into town on Saturday to get the train, and it was all red t shirts with something about the final printed on them, half and half scarves, banners etc.. Couldn't wait to get on the train. I feel sorry for the rest of those in Liverpool who have to suffer them more than I do in Hull. Even though there has been more of them walking around town here with their shirts on. If they win the damn thing I've been reliably informed that Outer Mongolia doesn't get Sky, BBC or Talksh*te. Passport at the ready!!!
