I detect - beyond the braggadocio of the social media Manson Family mob - a general winding in of necks these past few days amongst the Kopites as the reality of Real Madrid and Ronaldo heaves into view.

The pain is on it's way Kopites. You'll be sorry you qualified for this final.
It's a no loose situation Dave. Madrid are favourites obviously with their experience but the reds have got nothing to loose by going at them. Can't ever be sorry for qualifying for a final though. The ride to Kiev has been boss and invaluable experience has been gained along the way. Footy is about joy at the end of the day and if we get beat we have had some great nights along the way. I have given my ticket to my son and hopefully he sees the Reds win like his dad, granddad and uncles all have.

Not one of them has even considered that they might not win it. They just think it’s in the bag. It’s either winning mentality of the highest order or just extreme arrogance that will come back to bite them. You’d think they’d be a little bit more reserved given their recent finals record and Madrid’s.

I wouldn't even think it of them. Reserved could never apply to their loudmouth nature....and moreover especially in respect of reserved seats - the ones they robbed in Athens from their own fans.

God, I hope so.

I get that and you seem ok. But the ride to Kiev has come at a cost to the reputation of our City.
Yes football is about joy, and a lot of Liverpool fans would do well to remember that.

I'd like my Dad to have seen us win it too. But Liverpool FC denied him it.

Thanks.

With respect, it may be no lose for the fans and the club itself. But I think it is for Jurgen Klopp who wont want a second European final failure, especially given that their holy grail of the Premiership will surely elude them next season too.

Are you sure?

Klopp 'It's still something you can enjoy. We will try and we know what it would mean for all the people in Liverpool and all the people around the world if we could do that."

Six finals in a row the big German nobhead will have lost by Saturday night's conclusion.

He's like the cooler they employ in Las Vegas - the loser the casinos hire to stand by punters on a hot run.
