I have said this before, and I'll say it again. Horrendouson is a water carrier. If you have a water carrier like Didier Deschamp, you win the world cup. If you have one like Fernandinho or Kante, you might win the league. You have one like Hendo and you might sneak into the top 4 or streak a cup. He's a better than average premier league midfielder in this regard - it's a poor reflection on the English game that we don't have better who are in their prime.

Could say the same about an awful lot of positions like that for England though.

Would love the chance to be able to show some [Poor language removed] banners, we are as far away from a CL final as we have ever been and with the top teams pretty much cemented for the next few years progress will be very difficult. Get the right manager, new DoF, defined playing style and concentrate on ourselves and our progress should be our mantra for the coming years.
