  • Edin Dzeko on potentially moving to Everton: “What do you think I'm going to decide? I can stay in Rome or go to the pouring rain of Merseyside to play for Everton? Please don't ask me that one again.”
Stay in Rome lad.
Well if he’s going to be like that then he can ram it.

he has got a point though I suppose.

Rome or Liverpool? I know which one I would choose .. in terms of somewhere to live. I mean Rome has nothing to match the waterfront at Liverpool or....erm, Crosby?

Cavani has proven a lot of people wrong too. He was seen as a tap in merchant that couldn’t do anything else.
Tap in merchant is such a mad thing to use as a stick to beat a player with. If scoring tap ins was as easy as a few players in the world make it look week in week out, there would be a vast amount of players knocking in 20-30 goals every season.

Just no.

Would sooner we go with the Sigg/James double act than spunk a load of salary a week on this fella.

We must stop this kind of stop gap signing.
But I keep reading people saying that we need players to break 4th this season.

I mean I agree, I would rather we made signings for next season than panic for this.

But if there is nobody available right now, then it would be a sensible short-term signing.

We can’t just plod along with 1 striker until the end of the season. I know Richy can play up there, but then that makes us weaker in his position.

As long as it was only until the end of the season I’d be keen. Dzeko’s game was never built on pace and as Cavani is showing at United a quality player can still do a job. Think James would love having him up top and could put them on a plate for him. I’d say it’s low risk as long as the deal is right. Think of it like this.. right now if we are 1-0 down going into the last 10 then Tosun is coming on, Dzeko would be an infinitely better proposition.

We won’t get a better chance at 4th than this year
PERSONALLY, I would rather a player like Dzeko than Zirkee, but considering I have never watched Zirkee and haven't watched Dzeko for a few years we shouldn't really be taking any notice of me.
