Hello lads,

As the title suggests I will be returning home for a trip around the end of September to Early October with the missus in tow. We are going to stay in London first before I show her the glory of the soon-to-be Scouse Republic.

Now, I have my own lists of sights to see and places to visit in Liverpool (We're going to Goodison and the Crystal Palace match for a start) and she has a ton of tourist-y things she wants to do in London but I'd love your help for any suggestions for either city on places to go visit and eat around town.

Cheers,

Jake
Go the Museum? That is always a day out. Loads of them now and all free.

Dunkin donuts is in town as well as 5 guys so there's your day, expensive burger, expensive donut and free museuma to walk them all off.

Decent House Music with a good DJ. I'm alright with about anything, used to work at Circo and Kingdom when I was over there. Think Kingdom is still going, don't know about Circo.

Places with decent house music:

Empire (Downstairs) , Seel Street. Probably my favourite place in town at the minute.

Revolution, St Peters Square. Few to many ket wigs but they are harmless and the way they dance is amusing. Always have a good night in the basement part to be fair.

Baa Bar and Graffiti on Victoria Street play decent tunes and I always have a good night in there.

Mansion. Full of pretentious nobs but plays good tunes. I also seen Franny Jeffers get kicked out of there because he was that smashed so it has its upside.

And yeah Circo and Kingdom are still going but I haven't been to either in time.

Asking the wrong man there. I've moved away from town tbf, we do house parties instead.

In terms of what's good in general:

Mojo - Plays good tunes, few classics. Chilled out during the day but on a good night, it can be really good. Think people on tables signing Come on Eileen.
Brooklyn Mixer - Weird one but good place. 2/3 floors of different music and types of atmosphere. Can be a rave at the bottom and chilled out on the top.
Empire - See above but with more divvies.
Heebie Jeebies - Similar to Mojo but more indie I'd say.
Saltdog Slims - See above but a bit small
Red Door - Cocktail bar, usually chilled out, good for couples and groups
Revs/Revolution - Meant to be a bit decent, my mates work there and don't have a bad word to say about it. Find out this weekend tbf.
Level - Dung.

If I think of anymore I'll post them, they're the ones, bar Level that I frequent when we make the rare trip in.

If you go to Rev make sure you go downstairs.
