I believe the point I’m trying to make, and the response to your assessment that someone who played in 2 leagues is less of a risk than a player who has only played in one is ‘it depends’.
Take an extreme example. Who Would you pick over Mbappe?
This is where scouting teams are meant to earn their corn, by making those assessments on player ability to play in the EPL and in our structure/style/formation & make those judgement calls. Discounting them because they’ve only played (and played well) in one league over players who have played in 2 is discounting a huge amount of talent from the conversation. It also doesn’t discount players who maybe move around a lot because they are utter bells or lack loyalty.
