Some absolute massive tunes in there.

I used to chat to Endre on n the Tranceaddict forums back in the day. Kallocain was a the name of a Swedish novel that he was studying in college at the time. I actually picked a copy of it up out of curiosity, it’s a great read if a little short. Like a Swedish version of Orwell’s 1984

I left the vandits in shot to tempt a question, got some Andy Moor & some 'discover records' knocking about as well. (Sean Tyas, John O'Callaghan) Then some of the usual suspects on Positiva. I get a kick out of unearthing a hidden gem or a disc that was rare as, with a should be classic on it. It's a shame all the clubs closed, vinyl got ignored and everything went digital. What concerns me about the scene is it's contribution to everyday life and music in general, because the producers all went out and fell in love with the scene and so then added to it. With a limited scope to get your music heard and enjoyed it stifles that creativity and so is less likely to pay. Once that atmosphere dies off there is no getting it back. Something else invariably comes along, but with the 'edm' craze and the reversion to techno I can't forsee how the scene evolves next.

There’s a lot to suggest that oldskool trance sound is making a comeback commercially.

Not so much the old scene though.

Ooh, Gamemaster.

Got a remix out on Lost Language records next month, and the promo blurb says:

@mrlostlegend taps into the golden age of late 90’s Trance with a Signum / Gamemaster inspired remix,
That was the instructions from Ben Lost (The label owner - so many losts  ) that he wanted me to do something in the same vain as the Signum remix of Gamemaster:

i think there will be a jungle based track high in the charts in the summer, it's slowly getting closer and closer to the mainstream

So I’m an old fella with zero connection to EDM but I’ve started listening to some stuff apparently called synthwave. Is this something you middle aged chaps are aware of?
