Electronic music thread

Just seen that Caribou are playing in Brixton Academy in April. I’ve been meaning to see them for years but always missed them. Brixton Academy is a really good venue with a sloped floor and the sound system is brutally loud. When I saw Four Tet there last year it almost felt like my internal organs were swapping positions.

I'm a big fan of getting addicted to a song you haven't heard in a while.
About 2 weeks ago this came up randomly and have played it loads since. Generally when a podcast starts to drag I'll just switch apps and it's always on the start screen. Sometimes I'll let it lead in to the album or sometimes just a new wave playlist.

Don't know how to link YouTube but I just listened to Dave Clarke's World Service writing up my assessments and was in retro-techno heaven.

I remember seeing him years ago at a club in Birmingham (can't remember the name but it looked like a renovated church) and the bass coming through your bones to Midfield General was one of the best musical and sensory experiences of my life.

Afterwards I was in the chill out lounge and someone approached me and asked me I was interested in a massage. It sounded lovely but when my friends arrived it turned out not to be a professional masseur plying his trade but a very drugged up and very gay guy who just wanted to rub my back.

So I didn't even have to pay for his magic hands, was made up. Had a hug and a key and went back to the floor.

I need to get some good club buddy links now I'm down in saaaaaf Landan now.

Reznor doesn’t do bad soundtracks, he’s rapidly becoming one of the best in the business when it comes to scoring.

Literally the only good thing about Bird Box
