Please can one of you Ableton monkeys remix this for me. It's got some gorgeous vocals and piano but the worst drop ever! Needs to straight into an uplifting proggy beat.

I only really use Drumaxx for percussion, usually I just choose a random dance kit and then from there you can mess around with everything in the modeling controls to get it how you want.
Definitely worth having each bit on a separate pattern (kick, snare, hats etc) so they are isolated for any effects you might want to add later.
Also worth reminding people that there's a load of free sample packs over on the Cymatics website:

It's a bit of a mixed bag genre-wise, but they're all high quality on par with their paid packs.
The LIFE AMBIENT Recordings are well worth getting for any musician though, as it's a ton of useful foley & SFX recordings or real life sounds (Crowd noise, street sounds, weather/storms, animal noises/birds chirping etc.) which are always handy to have!
