Electronic music thread

Massive club tune in it`s day, sounds brilliant on a proper sound system.

it's a mainstay on the camping fields at goa festivals, those who've brought their own mini-soundsystems along with 5 caravans and an army of kids will play a bit of retro electro as a nice counter-balance to the psychedelic sounds of the stages.

enough of this old man retro band stuff, its an electronic music thread (semi serious, half joking)

you want modern, how's this for modern?

and couple of older brit favourites from the turn of the millenium (is that still modern?):

(don't miss the epic russian male choir in the final two minutes)

(relax...or don't)

ordered this during my current bonkers CD-buying phase. at only couple of euros a pop it's proven hard to resist. can't hack streaming anymore: bad quality, buggering up track-transitions and ads which can't always be blocked. can't be doing with mp3's anymore either. rebuying the best albums out there on CD and playing on a proper hi-fi system is like rediscovering musik anew.

Just had a look, there are two albums out, which one is the better of the two, as a starter ?

Both are great, can't go wrong with either in my opinion.

The older self-titled one has some of the more popular tracks going by YouTube views:
Fly for Your Life, Tech Noir, The Mountain

The newer album Dark All Day has some of my favourites:
Dark All Day, Art3mis & Parzival, Woken Furies, The Drone Racing League, When You Grow Up Your Heart Dies

<- great music video

And there are some others not in those albums which are equally as great. The newest one Cthulu has voiced intro by Corin Hardy and has a spooky but intense vibe to it. Came out in a collaborative album called Hollydoom.

New album from the Chems next month and every track released so far has been quality.
This is probably my fav so far!

May have to check their tour dates for this year, been a while since I’ve seen them live.

I can’t stop listening to Fort Romeau. He produces some of the finest deep house I’ve ever heard. Some of his remixes are superb too. This is one of his best:
