Without John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, Steven Gerrard and Ashley Young, England are almost likeable.

I say almost, because unfortunately Ashley Cole is still there.

Tale of two managers ...Jags reducing his hoof. Rodwells running forward for England...

Hoofball and sitting deep for Everton

And Jags has actually looked quite calm on the ball and looked to play it out whenever he had the chance.

Still makes me laugh when people claim its his choice to hoof all the time for us and not the coaching.

Loving this new look England team. Leave the big names at home for the Euros, please Capello.

This.

If he did, I'd back England to the hilt.

I can tolerate Lampard, and to a degree Ashley Young as long as he wears a paper bag over his head, but Ferdinand, Terry, Cole, etc. can do one.

I don't see why not either. England haven't got a chance of winning the Euros so why not get some of the up and coming lads involved ahead of the next World Cup?

Well there was that whinge fest that terry must play etc, and that kids shouldn't get a run out against Spain, that we should play a strong team...

But if we remember the Germany game last year with a "strong " team

i have been less than complimentary about rodders in the past but i have to say he has been very good so far toniight

It's obvious Moyes has mismanaged him. And it's took a surprise call up to see him in an England shirt to see it.

It's like a different player completely.

Well done England by the way, regardless of any late equaliser. Some proper players picked for a change.
