But why is that worth mentioning? It doesn't matter where your club is -- this is international footie.

If Beckham was in the squad would they have put "Beckham (LA Galaxy/USA)"?

I think they did do something along those lines. I guess it's convention to presume that the club is in the country that they're representing or to state otherwise. I guess if you were a foreigner looking at the squad you might be scratching your head where Cardiff is.

The unluckiest guy going for me is Darren Bent, what a time to be injured, he could have had a decent go at nailing a position down with injuries to Defoe and Rooney, but it'll be Carroll who will catch the headlines. I don't think he's ever going to get a chance, I really rate him.

Still far too many "athletes" with a heavy first touch in there.

Prime suspects include the entire defence apart from Rio, the entire attack, and of course Gerrard, Barry and Walcott.

In central midfield only really Wilshere can trap a ball.
This. Why am I not very surprised

I really couldn't give a rats arse about england...as far as i am concerned they have been boring the pants off supporters for years and england are pretty much just another london team seeing as we won't be seeing them outside of wembley for the next 2 decades. Half the squad are made up of second rate players...the selections are a joke...Bothroyde, Smalling, the goalkeepers other than Hart, Henderson...it seems like 2 good games gets you a shot at england...unless you're Baines. I hope Jags does well but other than that, I hope for injuries to Gerrard and Rio
