convinced already about Vaz Te?

Actually not many players in here are any good.

Probably 3/4 players...

On the other hand, this english side is one of the best I can remember. I was impressed when they played in Portugal, they should have won.

But on this portuguese side Nani and Moutinho are missing. And they'd make a huge difference.

Agreed, even so though you do underachieve at under 21 level. I expected you to walk away with the European under 21 championships with the likes of Moutinho, Veloso, Fernandes, Nani etc. Nothing clicked though, you didn't play as a team and Holland won.

England look decent, better the the full international team anyway.

Yeah, but we were pretty screwd by the [Poor language removed] ref. Just like you guys were.

Fernandes won't fufill his potential until he starts putting in the shifts.

Sometimes his lack of work rate lets him down at times.

He's got the ability to be one hell of a player but he lacks the work rate to be a top, top player.

I hope he installs it into his game because i'd love to see him at the top, and i'd be able to say that i saw him in an Everton shirt. Because he was/is, one hell of a player.

Agreed, he needs a kick up the arse at times and he needs a manager who can keep him on his toes. He switches off at times and overplays occasionly. He has got it in him though, I remember Moyes critisised him against Utd and in the next game he worked his socks off against Portsmouth.

You can't fault his ability on the ball though, his control and tecnhique is very good. His passing is also excellent. He shields the ball very well aswell, completely outmuscled and kept the ball away from Huddlestone on the edge of his own box which was very impressive albeit a little risky.

Hopefully he does kick on, he had a very good game for Valencia last week, changed the game and controlled it for large periods. We definatly missed the boat big time.

He tries to play it himself out of danger rather then play the safe option and pass it to someone else to clear.

When he produced that superb piece of skill against Arsenal, he only performed it because Stubbs won the ball back when Manny had lost it on the edge of his own box. But then he outmuscled that yard dog Diaby and made him look a fool.

He can control the game because he just has something that not alot of players have, he's one step ahead of most players.

Remember last season against Arsenal at the Emirates when he flicked the ball over a players head and played a first time ball to Johnson and he was one on one with Lehmann i think it was? All from Manny just producing some outraegous and one step ahead of everyone.

On paper, the Portuguese line-up was like a who's-who of CM 03-04 Wonderkids.

Bruno Gama, Vieirinha, Paulo Machado, Helder Barbosa, Goncalo Brandao & Bruno Pereirinha were all quality must-have 14/15/16 year olds!.

To be fair, the conditions definately did not suit the Portuguese, Agbonlahor was just too quick and Huddleston & Muamba had their number for sheer physicality in the midfield.

Mancienne looks a good prospect, might be worth a bid - he'll probably never get a real opportunity down at Chelsea.

Agreed, as I said he overplays at times which puts him in trouble. He'll probably grow out of that playing week in week out, once he's got the experience.

The good thing about him is his weaknesses are things that can be corrected and improved, he can up his workrate and he'll learn when and when not to release the ball.

Anyway, good talent and we missed the boat big time for me.

Well, apart Pereirinha I don't see anyone doing anything special in the coming years.

Bruno Gama has his only chance to step the grade this year, Paulo Machado is in France on the same situation. All the others seem like just FM players.

Pereirinha played out of position but I think he gave a clue about his pace and agility, though. He wasn't overtaken a single time in when I was watching.

He was dissapointing yesterday.
