James Taylor, a man treated appallingly by England, and never mentioned by any of the commentators, scored a double hundred today, I've always rated him higher than Ballance, though Ballance and his agent appear to be friends with the right people

It is going to take 2/3 players to turn it around full circle again. The middle order is a massive strength of ours and if they can just get a couple of innings with a good base then they could destroy teams, imagine Root & Stokes in at 200+/4. That is possibly with Buttler & Ali to come in as well.
Cook needs a partner that will complement him, score at a decent pace and allow him to play his natural game. Root needs to be in at 3.
Bell, Balance & Lyth are playing with fear at the moment, get some players in that play with no fear and we see a completely different side. The confidence running through the one day side is good and we need to harness that as best we can in the test environment.
Poms will be happy to see Haddin back. Why change a winning team? Crazy. 2-1 England.
I agree. Will be silly if he 'does a Howard' and comes straight back in. Just crazy.is he? nevill didn' do anything wrong!
Agreed. Good news for us poms. Nevill did very, very well.Poms will be happy to see Haddin back. Why change a winning team? Crazy. 2-1 England.
Old. Slow on his feet now when keeping. Unfortunately going through some tough family issues.Agreed. Good news for us poms. Nevill did very, very well.
Who would you prefer to Voges?Old. Slow on his feet now when keeping. Unfortunately going through some tough family issues.
Not the right decision. Keep the winning team. Although I can't see how Voges is getting a game, but I won't be a broken record.
I would play some of the one day young talents. Maxwell maybe or Faulkner. Debuting a 35y/o is ludicrous for me.Who would you prefer to Voges?

Still prefer a younger player to the Dad's Army they are selectingMaxwell can't buy a run this season at Yorkshire.
Not so long ago, when Aussies got to about 35, they were being pressurised into retiring to allow the younger players a go!
Glad that Haddin is back. It means I can, as a Kiwi, dispense with any neutrality as to the result. I detest that man, and any team he is a member of, I want to lose badly. Go England!Poms will be happy to see Haddin back. Why change a winning team? Crazy. 2-1 England.
