I'm half welsh, half english, and I'm behind Wales every frigging time footy-wise.

I'd have more time for England if they didn't keep going through the cycle of 1. Appoint foreign manager 2. Give in to demands for English manager 3. Appoint most clueless Englishman available so they can say 'we told you so' 4. Repeat step 1, rinse, repeat

It winds me up something chronic when peiople bang on about needing a foreignh manager. I normally ask why, and they say 'we need one to win things, the english ones aren't good enough', to which I reply something like 'why don't we get that Neymar guy upfront then, he knows where the net uis. Our strikers aren't good enough', which always gets the response 'don't be stupid, the team have to be English, it's Ing-er-land!' 'isn't the manager an important part of the team then?' 'don't be stupid, it's the players that count'.

Why the hell do you need a foreign manager then, it it isn't that important? Can't have it both ways...

James Milner should never be allowed near a set piece from now on.

In other news, the commentators are like Jekyll and Hyde when talking about Stones. One minute they are saying his passing means you can forgive the odd mistake, the next they go on and on when he makes one!

At least there talking about the matchat least. Whenever stones has the ball in a pl game. commentators starting reading out their diaries entries regarding stones transfer saga.
:dodgy:

Sections of the media are currently reporting Milner and Henderson as joint contenders for man of the match, with 7/10 ratings. Barkley and Stones trail on 6 and 5 respectively...

haha... I'm welsh my friend.. why would I get any pleasure from England winning ? I love how they hurt you so though.
Would you get pleasure from wales winning ?

Luckily nobody has to worry about that happening very often!

Typical of England to put on a tremendous performance against Germany (at least in the 2nd half) before stumbling to a lacklustre Netherlands.

Personally, that's why my support for England is only pretty wafer thin, or at least subdued, as we've been along this road too many times.

Hey at least it will keep all the lager drinking louts in Stoke and other places slightly less exuberant; two wins would have got them carried away.
