Playing well- all over them. Gareth Barry is showing the world what hes made of- Ive always said that we should have looked at him. Great passer and that bit of steel as well.
Tell you what, if Everton had scored Russias disallowed goal, I wouldn't have been happy to see it disallowed.

Very good so far. Still need to keep going though, they were unlucky with the disallowed goal so they're not out of it yet. More of the same please.
Russia were close then!
Superb display from back to front. Lets hope they can keep this up. My ratings.
Robinson 6 - Didn't have much to do but dealt with everything that came his way.
Richards 7 - Continues to impress and is teaming up well with SWP
Ferdinand 6 - A few lapses in defence but took his goal well
Terry 7 - Marshalled the defensive line well
Cole 6 - Looked to be getting back to the kind of form we know he's capable of.
Barry 8 - Has been very good in the last two games and kept posession very well again tonight.
Gerrard 7 - Didn't boss the game as he can but showed some good touches in both attack and defence.
Cole 7 - He's had more incisive games for England but is a constant threat on the left flank.
SWP 7 - Teamed up very well with Richards and looks settled in the position.
Heskey 7 - Still doesn't look 100% comfortable with the ball at his feet but he won absolutely everything in the air. The decision to recall him has been vindicated.
Owen 8 - Clinical finishing by him and some good interplay as well. Good to see him back on the pitch again after so many injuries.
All in all a fine performance. Hopefully McClaren will have the courage to stick with this side now and resist the urge to recall the big name players absent from tonights game.
