Yep credit wheres it due- Heskey did well again, so for two games on the trot he pulled it out of the bag so for that I applaud him.

The real star of the show over the two games has been Gareth Barry- he was absolutely superb. No frills no spills just did his job and did it superbly. I think the get it and give attitude kept us going and kept us motoring. It enables Gerrard to play a bit more and gives the defence that much needed security. His tracking back at times was simply world class,

I think the next games coming up will be a massive test for smiley Steve. The temptation to keep the 'big names' happy may prove too much. Heskey has earnt his place with Owen for sure and if he carries on playing well for club then I think he should be in.
