English players to honest to dive

Yes, he went down like a soft-arse. But still doesnt overshadow a thick **** of a supporter running onto the pitch and giving a mild tap into Dida's face. That supporter couldve done anything to him.

Also, would it have been noticed if Dida hadnt have gone down? Just a thought. Dida made a meal of it, but it was brought into the limelight.

I remember that fan getting a ban and the club fined I think.

I agree. The fact that the fan was allowed to wander onto the pitch, unchallanged, was ridiculous. But Dida's reaction, after chasing him for a couple of paces and then deciding to go down was embarrassing.

Here's another 'classic'...

Rivaldo

And this one is quite good in response...

'Dives'

One of the first incidents I saw regarding play acting was the Brazilian at the corner flag, who collapsed in a heap when the player threw the ball to him.
Anyone remember his name? It ended with the letter 'o'.

Rivaldo

A player in the opposition kicked the ball to him when he stood at the cornerflag and it hit him on the leg. He fell down screaming and clutching his face and the one kicking the ball to him got shown a red card. Afterwards he defended it by saying that "he could have been hit in the head and wanted to defend himself if that happened".

I'm still mystified how the referee standing next to Rivaldo didn't see him playacting.

Thankyou.

referees have themselves partly to blame if they started giving penalties for every foul in the box you would have rediculous scorelines for a couple of weeks untill it sorted itself out. but then it may stop. You probably would also have games called off after sending players off for being booked and then sent off for arguing with the ref. It would be a much better game to watch (like rugby although pass backwards to go forward i dont get even when i played it) then we could start on video refs

and then i shall conquer the world and ban all reds

what about the £200k-a-year media advisers the FA have behind the scenes? don't they advise these dickheads against saying stuff like that???
