Maybe we should have gone for someone like Sebastien Haller who again was mentioned - I think. He's got a good record and doesn't seem to have many weaknesses.

Even as backup you would like to think we could attract him from the likes of Ultrecht. He could even be an eventual replacement for Rom if he does well. He's already scored 4 in 6 this season and has shown year on year steady progress. Unfortunately bigger clubs may be interested next summer.

....a good benchmark to a forwards worth is whether defenders feel they have been in a real game when they leave the pitch. Whether it's a physical battle or simply that their opponent has been a real handful with his movement and ability. I felt the Norwich CBs were not tested or stretched by Valencia on Tuesday. On their journey home I doubt either spoke much about him.
