It's an absolute myth. We've played a Spurs team at that point with Harry Kane enduring a miserable summer, a Stoke team completely out of form, a West Brom team with a manager actively at war with his board over new signings, an absolutely hopeless Sunderland side that just got beat at home by Palace, and beaten by a tosh Blackpool side.

As I've said previously, we've learned nothing from this current run of games. Let's see where we are at the halfway stage of 19 games.

No game is easy in this league. Even the poor sides have quality players. That's not a myth.

We've played well overall and it's been a good start.

We messed up against Bournemouth. Need a good performance against Palace.

Well that last point never materialised for the simple fact that in reality we're a mid table side .That's just the way it is lids.
