Thought I might be the account to mention something about the sordid scene, yet Bruce has beaten me to it. Good points sir and + rep for you. Less than two years ago Antonio Puerta died of a heart related issue at just 22. I suppose it casts doubt on the sad departues of Marc Vivien Foe and Kanu and numerous other African born players whos agents/handlers are prepared to tell untruths on paper let alone god knows what when it comes to 'supplements' and 'playing boosters'. It is the even less monitored African nations that the blight of doping is really calling a cost.
As for Jarque, prayers out to his family in this most awful time.
